G. Philip J. Zies is a registered patent attorney focusing his practice on patent prosecution, intellectual property litigation, contract drafting and review, and business and corporate litigation.
Philip graduated from Rollins College in 1990 and from the Stetson University School of Law in 1993. Philip was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1993, and the New York Bar in 1997. Philip was also admitted to parctice in the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida in 1997, the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in 2008, and the United States Patent and Trademark Office in 2010.
Philip is also a patent holder and enjoys inventing, along with collecting antiquarian books, shipwreck coins, and vintage video games. Philip is married to his wife, Lynn, and they have two children and three grandchildren.
